O/T Shooting at lawyer office

Had to go to my lawyer's office to pick up some paper to close my mom estate could not even get near the place at first i though they had the road closed repaving parked on the other side the street one partner was handling a divorce case the husband walk out after an arguement and she follow him out and shot him several time he was airlifted to to a hospital she had several warrants in MS. on weapon charges got. Fun afternoon.

Nearly the same thing happened in Grand Island,
Nebraska a few days ago. Guy (allegedly)killed his
Ex in Kearny, then drove to GI and killed
(allegedly) her attorney....

They shouldn't shoot at their ex's, they should just shoot the lawyer!!

Some exceptions of course. JohnT. I think he would agree that many divorce attornys are a different breed.

Sounds like a sign of changing times or more accuratly attitudes. In the old days it was said
"God made men and Sam Colt made them equal".
Today that would go"God made women and men and Sam Colt made them equal".

Yea, I heard about that shooting on the news last night. Sounds like a contested divorce for sure.

Wife shooting X or soon to be X is no big deal after Bobbit publicity. Woman probably had to wait to catch the guy at lawyers office since he wasn"t sleeping at home where wife could get at him with kitchen knife or can of lighter fluid and match book. "Irreconsolable differences" or some such term is used in "no Fault" states when couple declared in effect they can"t get along and note some incidents-- this would probably influence a judge to grant "fault" divorce in a usually "no fault" state. Conealed carry stats in couple places had a breakdown of new issues when law came into affect- the commercial or business need section in a couple noted "lawyer" occupation had a high percentage per total in state of applications- old Iowa sherrifs issue at proven need and Maryland had more pistol permits issued to lawyers than other occupations as a "business need" - wonder why? RN
