farmall F30

what size rear rubber was used on the F30 ? every picture on YT shows a different rear tire ! mine has 7.00 x 40 which is NOT correct either. thanks for any help !

Dont think there was a 'specified' size.Fellow here has one with 13.6x38 on f/H ('factory' round spoke)wheels.I'm sure there were also 28;32;36 offered, possibly others.

Original F30 in 1931 came with 12-42 rear steel wheels with spade lugs. Rubber tires were first offered in 1933 through the end of the run in 1939 as follows:

1933- Front 6.00-16
Rear 11.25-24

1935- Front 6.00-16
Rear 11.25-24; 13.50-24

1936 Front 6.00-16
Rear 10.-00-36; 11.25-28;12.75-28

1937 Front 6.00-16
Rear 11.25-28; 11.25-36; 12.75-28

Or homemade rubber tires for a F30. My Dad and Granddad on the Nebr wheat, Milo, Cane farm.

Its very possibly farmerized, or could you maybe have a F30 Cane? I think those had 40s, but not sure. I hate to ask, but is it possible you have a F12 or 14. Those had 40" tires on them.

I forgot to mention there were cane versions and I have no info as to what size tires they might have had.

I have a 1937 F-30 that had been in the same family from new. It has the original tires on it and they are 11.25 X 40 with split rims.

Just has the conversion chart for those sizes last fri but darn if I can find it now but those sizes do not convert to what you would think but to a still larger size.

IH, F@H, + Kay Brunner, Firestone, Goodyear, and who knows who else all made pneumatic tire equipment for these tractors its hard telling what you'll find on there. Mine came on 28" round spokes on the rear and 16" on the front. Run 13.6 tires on it now. Mine goes 10mph with the Heisler. 40"s would sure help out on the transport speed if you can find tires that is.

Anyone looked up to see if F30 s could be ordered with " factory" duals? One of our neighbors got a new F 20 with duals on it from the factory. They were a very narrow tires & prob 40" rims. He used it until the tractor was traded. This was in N E Ill.
M-M used 7 x 40 tires for duals on there early "Z" and "U" tractors. An option from the factory. clint

Its a strait 2.5" hose, 3 inches long. you should be able to buy it at any good parts house Or you could order it from the Fordson House, maybe rustic red acres, aldersons tractor, plus others on here.
