Observations on I-70 yesterday...

I travel from IN to PA several times a year to go to in laws. It's always interesting what you see on the road. LOTS of new tracked JD tractors heading east, going overseas? Don't know. LOTS of what I guess is equipment for natural gas exploration. Large convoys of drilling equipment, giant valve bodies, etc. going down the road. Didn't see that 3 years ago. By the way, I know about every exit in 420 miles. Having 3 little kids that were breastfed, changing diapers, I about know them all!! Still saw a few thousand acres of corn still out. Better hurry, snow already came, and more coming!!

I came up I-29 from Kansas City to the Onawa, Ia exit yesterday. Crops are out, and a lot of fall tillage taking place.

Saw a large convoy of trucks with the drilling equipment on I 70 as well yesterday. Must of been 20 trucks or so. Whatever that equipment was for it sure is expensive to move.

Was around New Castle, IN when I saw it heading east bound

i was surprised how much corn is still in the fields in NE Ohio last weekend. Wifes uncle said the bins are all full. almost always too wet there to pick some until it freezes.
