OT - ND ghost towns book/pics

When turning the two rows come together. My Kinze planter, I had with splitters for beans, did the same thing on corners.

If you look at the rest of the field it looks like even spaced narrow rows.

Likely seeded with an air drill with banding seed boots. Think chisel plow that puts seed down in a 5 inch wide stripe behind each shank.
 
calf, sorry can"t answer your question, but would like to say thank you for the link. Always enjoy pictures of semi-contemporary historic places-especially military bases. Strange seeing how they are now compared to when they were very vibrant and alive. Thanks again!
