Just wanted to thank you for posting this great video. It caused be to remember all God has done for me. Truly He is great. Looking forward to that day.

Thanks for that video. My wife and I have been married for 51 years. We were high school sweethearts before that and childhood friends before that. She's the only "girlfriend" I've ever had.

Just yesterday, I was sitting across the table from her at Thanksgiving dinner. There were 21 of us gathered for the holiday. I couldn't help but notice the lines in my wife's face. Her red hair has turned to a white/blonde color. She moves slowly when she stands up after having been seated.

And I could not love her more than I do. Just as she is. She's been my faithful support for all of these years. She's still my beautiful "Sweet Baby".

Thank God for His immeasurable blessings in this life and the promise of eternity ahead.

43 Years for us too - Last child just moved out, and wife and I spent Thanksgiving alone together. Felt kinda strange. Oh, we had a family celebration Sunday, with the three children, their spouses, and 7 grandkids so we weren"t left out. But, kinda strange all the same. We"ve weathered a lot together in those 43, including heart attacks, and cancer. But I still got my best friend of 46 years.

The older you get the more you notice things like the old barn the old trees i,ll be 69 in a few days the time for a new barn is fast coming.The lord has one for me and you. thanks for the post,Delbert.
 
48 years for us. Just the two of us Daughter & Son for Thanksgiving dinner. but Happy to have them. I hope YOU-ALL enjoyed the meal and games on TV as much I did.
 
That video was plum pretty and kinda of a happy type of sadness.

I drove truck fur aboot 30 years and been in every state in the lower 48 but 3 of them.
As I would see old barns, houses and farms/ranches abondend I often thought if those buildings could talk, What would be their story?
 
I too love old barns and farmsteads. If only I could go back in time. Does the ETD have that feature?

Old Barns and Old People
 
I really liked that it helped me feel better, see, my cousins oldest boy and his girlfriend were on their way in Wednesday morning from Corpus Christi and his car broke down about 4 that morning he called his mom and told her they were going to be late that his car had broken down and they had pulled over on the side of the road and called a tow truck to come and get them while they were sitting there in the car off on the shoulder someone in an 18 wheeler hit them from behind and the truck hit them so hard that it ended up on top of the car with the front of the truck past the windshield. Him and my 2 daughters were close too he graduated with my youngest daughter there was less then 2 weeks in the age of him and my youngest daughter 25 years old and his girlfriend was 23.

Thanks for the post! I had to wipe my eyes before I watched it the second time. (I also wrote down the youtube info.)
 
chek out your stories ,,, 'the legacy of the family farm and the old barn,,. I wrote it ,, its got to be good ,.,.. lol
