I agree totally. Thanksgiving leftovers are like day old chili, better than the first day. Turkey sandwiches and stuffing, mmmmmmmm

You"ve got that right! NO shopping here and plenty of delicious leftovers, which happen to be my favorite type of food.

I will say this, I gave plenty of leftovers to departing company. I must be rich, we had great company, a fun dinner, some card games, some walks...better than the kings of old lived!

Also had copper-top and brother over for some vittles. (old saga if you don"t get the copper-top mention).

Well, he and brother made their way here, and man can they eat!

We have an easy-going dinner, find a plate, fill it, find a chair, sit and eat after a quick prayer. It really relaxes people when they can choose any seat at the table(s).

I am still nudging him to achieve a better education, but just small nudges.

Yes this is my favorite also. I don't have to be anywhere and there's more holidays coming. It's sunny here in Illinois and about 45 degrees which makes this day even better. The only thing better would be a little snow on the ground and having to go out and cut some fire wood and haul it in with the tractor.

Today is one of my favorite days to go to work.
Most people are out, so I get a lot accomplished without interruption!
And I can take take the leftovers in for lunch.
