Just for kicks here.
What would you charge a guy to make lets say that IH 1206 tractor? What did you charge for that?

Neat stuff! I know a guy who has a Silver King made from a Cub Cadet Hydro. Has the Silver King grille,steering box,shift and transmission top. It's got a two cylinder Kubota motor in it. Nice looking little unit.
 
So far they have ranged from $9,000 up to just over $20,000 for the biggest turbocharged AWD diesels. That tractor started on a $3,900 chassis before I even started customizing it. I usually have about 50% in parts and material, and the rest goes to labor.

Now I am just thinking out loud here,
What if you were to make a real life size, say a Ford 5000 tractor, but with a Ford 6 cylinder gas engine from a car or truck? Hydrostatic trans? having to rebuild an existing Ford 5000 engine would be a PITA I would think.

Bob Thomas from MO has a US B that I would dearly love to have. He also made a F 20(?). I wanted him to bring to Rantoul but he said it was too far for his age. A director at a show he was at, said a guy asked him where he bought the motor for the B. He said he made and he did. The only thing he said he did different, was to just make a 2 speed transmission instead of a 4.
