Replaced the switch, cylinder sleeve, piston ring and o-ring, still no air. Pumps up to 10 psi and that's it. What's the problem ?

I'm wrong again. Parts book is showing I have to buy the valve plate assy. to get the reed valve. I would have been money ahead just to buy a new compressor.

My first air compressor was oil less. I had to replace the piston and cylinder. The fix only lasted a few years. Next time I removed the compressor, sent it to the recyclers. Sold the air tank on craigslist. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY AN OIL LESS. That was ove 20 years ago. I hae 5 oil type compressors in different locations. Never had a problem with any of them.

FW, Do you have the model# ? I can pull a parts diagram and tell you what I am talking about. My brother had one that wouldn't pump up. I could see that the reeds weren't closing right and just adjusted them a little and it's been close to a year and still working.
