Governor seal

Hi I am looking for a pierce governor shaft seal on a white G 1600 engine. The number on the seal is NOK X3709. I have learned that a J Williams was looking for the same seal and he found a correct replacement seal. He was working an Oliver tractor. If anyone knows him or where to find a replacement seal please email me.

I"ve never dealt with them, but you might want to give the guys at the link below a call and see what they can do. Typically the NOK seals are metric and any good bearing house ought to be able to match one up just by size. Unfortunately the NOK stuff is often an odd/special size so it"s not always possible. That said the folks at the site the link is for say they specialize in solving that sort of problem. Good luck.

Is the seal on the shaft to which the governor arm is attached or the governor input shaft? What is the approximate ID of the seal? OD?

Have you tried your local bearing store? I rarely buy OEM seals or bearings. I just take what I took out, even if it is in pieces, to them and they almost always have what I need. While restoring my 901, I went to CNH for a bearing and they said no, haven't sold one of those since before the computer system was put in 18 years ago. I went to the bearing store and they located one on the other side of the country. Bearing with shipping still less than half CNH price.

I Do have my parts guru looking for a seal as well. He is pretty sharp on tractors and industrial applications. the measurements of the seal are OD 23.09mm shaft size 11.16mm seal depth 6.48mm. thanks for your replies.

I check the seal and the OD is 23.09mm the ID is 11.16mm and the depth of the seal is 6.48mm.I hope you can help me.

John Deere used some Pierce governors on power units. The John Deere part # for a cross shaft seal is T19564.

The dimensions are VERY close to what you have posted. They are less than $10 through your Deere dealer.

Shaft Diameter 11.125 MM
Seal Outside Diameter 23.216 MM
Width 6.350 MM

Hi guys I found a seal for the governor. I went to my local CAT machinery dealer and they had one that fit perfectly. I was glad to pay the $20.00 just to get it fixed. Thanks for all of your input
