Thanks to all vetrans. Here are a couple of my favorite vets. The first is my dad who served in Japan during the occupation and the second is my father in law serving in Vietnam.

Right on man they are great pics.
I have no pics but my uncle was a WW11 Lancaster pilot in with 29 missions under his belt, whom I never met. We will all remember.
 
My brother was in the Air Force 3 days after we graduated from high school in 1951. I was drafted in 1953 and spent most of my hitch at the Ft Bragg NC with the 82nd Airborne. I was furloughed for the draft and was rehired back with the government. Our daughter was born at the Ft Bragg hospital. Hal

My grandson was on the 82nd he went Iraq where he hurt his back when the humvee it a hole he's a 50% disabled Vet now.

We tested those Hummer's at Aberdeen Proving Ground MD. We also tested the M1A1 Abrams Tank and the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. I was furloughed for the draft and was rehired back at APG when I was discharged. They were some of the largest test projects I worked on. The M88 Recovery Vehicle and the M578 Recovery Vehicle were more high priority tests.
