To be honest I can't see where they would gain much restoring it if it is original. If it's an older restoration that's a different story.

If that were mine, and it has never had a restoration I would leave it as is. Maybe seat covers and headliner if necessary. It will be worth more unrestored. It can only be original once. Picture of my 1929 Essex not restored except for headliner and seat covers the mice ate.

Looks like the barn finds are still out there, older restorations or not. Still looking for that old motorcycle under a tarp covered by hay in a corner of some old barn. Stan

My bike is under the sheet in corner of shop for the winter.

It is a 2013, not much interest to collector, but almost cost me a divorce.

Found mine right across the street last December. 1977 Triumph Bonneville. The missus got it for me for Christmas as a surprise. Ya gotta like that! Torn apart...waiting for winter for assembly.

My shop project or rather hangar project is finishing the annual inspection on my 1977 Maule M5-210C airplane. Came through inspection in good shape. Just have a few interior panels to install.

Good rainy day project.

Right now, nothing.A brief lull between.Next is the 'continuing' 38 F-12 hotrod/minipuller project.Hope to finish this winter....

And of course, it will be a full dress '47 Indian Chief. LOL, my daddy always said, "If you're gonna dream, might as well dream big."

1936 Chevrolet fire engine. Just in for some repairs and service. Sure like to get it done so I can get started on the Oliver!

If that is original paint it would be a shame to try to restore the car. Studes are rare and super cool of any year. 8 cylinder is an added bonus. That's a really nice car ! Studebaker is the oldest transportation company in America . Started building wagons in 1850s [I beleive]. Their name was Stutenbecker and they wanted it to sound less German and more American so changed it to Studebaker. For some reason my mom gave me info she printed off the net about them back in 1999. Interesting company.

I'm getting more info on it every time he comes in. Not sure if it is original or not but it is pretty nice shape. Even had owners manual in it . Guy powder coated the spoke wheels and put new rubber on it . Not sure what all he is going to have restored, chrome is peeling on bumpers n door handles .

My '48 JD D is in my shop with a blown manifold gasket. The head and manifold go to the machine shop to be resurfaced next. Plan to have the old girl back together by the end of deer season.
