It is a tractor that was built in Germany in the 1950s through the 1960s. They still build diesel engines.

Thanks appreciate something new. Seems like some other European tractors I have have seen had that style sloping front hood/grill.

No, but it sure looks a lot like the hallucinations my LSD "friends" in college used to describe: "Oh man! I saw every color in the rainbow and all their cousins!" (One of them went on to be an air traffic controller - hopefully he is retired by now or gone on up to that Big Rainbow in the sky!)

Didn't International Harvester import a tractor in the 1960's or 70's from England that the motor turned counter clockwise?

Only have seen one, in a parade in Bellevue, MI about 8 years ago. Seems there were a few imported to the US, and unclaimed at the dock in Detroit. This was one, a one cylinder diesel. Looked like a well built little tractor and ran great.

The engine does NOT run the other way round. It runs like any other standard Diesel engine.
The only thing that could make you think it might run counter clockwise is that the v-belt pulley is mounted on the cam shaft, not on the crankshaft. Further, you crank these engines on the camshaft, which just turns the other direction than the crank shaft.
