I've got these photos on a few old car forums, but sometimes no one answers. Anyone pin-point the years on these fender chrome scripts? I need to get them advertised for sale and out of my garage. thanks, stan

The ranch wagon looks to be of 1957 or newer, the country sedan looks very close, but I have no experience with them. Walking a junk yard, or using the part number from the back (google Ford part number___________ Jim

The Ranch Wagon emblems are newer than '57 for sure. I think they're from somewhere around '63-66. '57 had an angular W not the rounded W.

The Country Sedan looks 1959ish to me.

Not 100% certain about either but that should get you in the ballpark.

I have just spent over half an hour looking through a book titled, "Ninety Years of Ford". which shows by drawing or actual photograph almost ever model Ford automobile produced from 1903 thru 1993. Bummer is, the drawings seldom showed any sign of nameplates, and many of the photographs were taken at such a distance or angle that one could not clearly see the names.
The first photo of the "Country Sedan" name plate looks very much like the one on the photo of a 1954 year model. It was located on the rear "fender", (the little bubble that made it look kinda like a fender), just under the chrome side strip. This was about the only one that I could read very clearly with a magnifying glass.
One note of interest, concerning the "Ranch Wagon" script. The full size Ford Ranch wagon was not offered in 1963 or 1964, but was brought back in 1965.
One reason you get no replies on the other forum could be due in part, to at least two factors. One, there were not as many station wagons sold as other models, some years very limited numbers. and second, there are not as many people restoring station wagons as other models. You know how it goes, everyone wants a convertible, or 2 dr, hardtop or something sporty, UNLESS, it is a very limited production hi-po model or something like that.

I'm pretty sure there was a Fairlane (mid size) Ranch Wagon in '63. Maybe 64 too. My folks had '59, '63 (Fairlane) and '66 wagons. If I remember correctly all 3 were Ranch Wagons.
