has any one look at or price tryed out then new kubota RTV-X1120D has a two speed transmission and 24hp motor i have atv 900 and think about a new one

Been we brought one here to the farm. Have two 900s that have been used hard. Tried the new one out and it is nice , probably will leave it here. Been selling KUBOTA for 25+ years.
They (KUBOTA) did improve the suspension and a few things on the new one.

The new rtv's are nice more ground clearance. better transmission. go to your local dealer and try one out.

What will it do that my $6000 4 wheeler won't? I pull logs, haul hay, pull 6x12 trailer, run up the road a mile at 4o mph to neighbors, drag deer, and use it for ladder to pick apples and have 40 gallon sprayer on my Honda Foreman ATV.

I am glad you are happy with your Honda sounds like it does everything you want it to. As for the rtv you can have heated cab, hyd snow plow, sweeper. However your Honda would win in a drag race.

or what my $1200 golf cart does...side by sides are waaaay overpriced...but then most ATV's are also. If I need 4x4 I jump in my $1500 Suzuki Sidekick...which by the way, I can also drive to town. Heater and cd player to boot!

LOL I couldn't agree more,, cept I only paid 1K for my golf cart. Don't think I'd fit in the Sidekick though.

I HAVE HAD SEVERAL ATV TYPE BUTT HAULERS AND MOST DO A GOOD JOB . CURRENTLY HAVE A JD GATOR AND A KUBOTA .WE USE THEM NEARLY EVERYDAY ON THE FARM AND TO PLAY. I LIKE THEM BOTH BUT THE KUBOTA USES DIESEL AND WE ALWAYS HAVE IT ON THE FARM AND WE SEEM TO ALWAYS BE OUT OF GAS.

I am so glad that you guys have told me that a golf cart will do anything a side-by-side UTV will do. I am now going to sell my track fitted Kawasaki Mule and buy a golf cart to pick 1200 lb load of fieldstone and haul 150 gallon loads of maple sap up the muddy trail out of my woods. Apparently a 9hp gas golf cart is equal to a 23 hp diesel 4x4 mule and can haul my 10,000 gallons of sap out of the woods next spring.

Some folks like their golf cart, some their 4 wheeler ,but fact is between John deer Gator, the Kawasiki Muel, Poloris Ranger , and Kubota RTV their was over 44,000 side by side utility units sold last year. Companies just building what sells. Market expected to grow 20% this year as things improve in the job market.

Camoplast 4 season utv tracks. work well in all conditions, are designed to handle the weight of a fully loaded utv. the only 2 issues are to keep ice buildup clear so chunks don't break off and get between the tracks and the gearing, wheels and idlers, and he likes to slide down steep side hills. but he will cut in an inch or two, you will jump off and go in half way to your knees.

i like my kubota just wish it had a little more speed like 50 or so but thn i probable hit a tree and hurt my old body so i guess 30mph well have to do going to go look at one in the am see what it cost to get a new one bough out
