Steam Sawing

Just had 4 days at a Model Engineering Exhibition. I took my 4" scale model Garrett Traction Engine, my friend brought his 6" scale sawbench. We had some fun, kept people interested and found out just how powerful my engine is. My head is down in 1 picture as my eyes were filling with a mixture of cinders and sawdust.

Great photos. How neat that you have a scale model steamer.

I am seeing more and more scale-size at shows here. They are adorable.

Hey, a steam powered garden tractor! I have a lot of admiration for those who are talented enough to build such equipment as that. I have an old VHS video about antique farm tractors and it features a home built steam engine and sawmill in operation.
