I had some more pictures of the sauer kraut ,,,shredded up 20 lbs

coverd it with a towel then put a plate and weighted it down to keep the juice covering the kraut

then coverd the whole thing,it has to stay for awhile,wish me luck!

the old kruat slicer worked good,it was made in indianapolis

Makes my mouth water to think about it! Mom used to make it along with pickled beans and corn all in crocks.

That will be really good stuff... neighbors use to make kraut each year.

I have a 673 Tucker and Dorsey, Indianapolis, IN that was in my family. Do not know where it came from or who. It looks a little smaller than your's. It is 8.75 X 24. Love that kraut!
