95 f250- no taillights

The other night I noticed that my truck has no taillights. Has brake and turn, no tail. Plug in a trailer and the taillights worked on that. I changed one of the bulbs but that didn't make any difference.

Any ideas?

Broken/corroded wire around or after the trailer splice? Ground maybe. I almost always find the trouble where the trailer hookup was wired into the original harness. Look around under there, or have someone wiggle the wiring with the lights on while you watch for a flicker of the taillights.

Brother's 2000 F150 Super Crew lost a taillight once and we determined it must be a broken wire. IIRC, we spliced from tag light to taillight and got the taillight working again.
