I do, only because I read the info sheet attached.

One of several items at a tractor collector auction in Ohio today that I have never seen before.

It looks similar to a device I used to hold the Bell & Spigot ends of pipe together so you could fill the joint with molten Lead.

Well, the top pic looks like an old push type mower. The bottom pic looks like a John Deere hit & miss engine. Just kidding maybe something to bend wood when steaming it?

I don't know why it would be useful, but it looks like it would pull a pole through it as you push your handle, that is stuck in the tube, back and forth.

The paper attached in the photo describes this item as a "pipe pusher". Some suggested it was used to push pipe under a road surface before augers were used.

The auction was in Creston, Ohio.

Some of the other things of interest were a no. 36 combine, no. 7 combine, hay press (all John Deere)

The header for the John Deere 36 combine is shown in this pict and was to be attached to the left side . The model 36 COMBINE is shown in "volume one 1837-1959 John Deere Tractors and Equipment".
