Not one to vent often, but no one else is awake 'cept the 'puter.
Mom had her gall bladder removed last Thursday.
Outpatient surgery supposedly, under the knife at 8, out by 12.
They didn't let her come home until Saturday and the ambulance
took her back to the hospital half an hour ago.
Two sisters are with her. Me, my brother and the other sister
get to spend our night getting ready for the morning/day shift.
Most likely not life threatening, I know that.
Just frustrating for her and all of us that they couldn't get it right.
She's always been a farm girl, tough as nails. Hard to see.
Dad's been gone for 12 years, he was 72, that wasn't easy either.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.
Please keep her in your prayers.

I know,My Dads been gone over 5 years and Mom nearly died at about the same time. She got better, but still has THOSE days.My wife and I work hard to support us and our 4 kids, and now my Mom since Dad passed.I pray your Mom gets better

Prayers sent and its nice to have a place to
talk this world still has people that cares about
others afterall that was a part of farming
before factory farms neighbors helping
neighbors anyway they can

Prayers and thoughts are with you. I know the drill well. Lost dad July 6 2011. Age 88. Mom, now 88 has been in and out of hospitol and care homes and back home too many times. My siblings and I are caring for her at home now. I'm the second son, third born. four boys, two girls.
I would not pass up what I'm doing for all the money in the world even though its hard at times. So that said her's a happy story. Monday night was my turn. I'm have been divorced three years and am now dating. I have had a couple of gals over to my mom's house in the last three years. I was helping mom get her pants pulled down in the bathroom right before bed time and she Said. "Jerry you just like pulling pants off girls". I'm still laughting. I just wish I had been savoy enough to say back but yea dad tough me that.
All of you Good luck with your Families.

Sorry to hear it Royse. I don't think that was where they were going when they went by here this morning. Two of them, followed by both fire trucks.

Royse:

Prayers are sent. Best wishes for the rest of the
family.

Both of my parents are gone, Mom in 2001 @ 84 &
Dad in 2002 @ 92 .

Now I'm looking after an 86 year old friend that
I've known for over 30 years; I'm the closest
thing to family that he has out here; his ONLY
family are a Cousin & a Niece back in Kentucky.

Doc

Thanks everyone for the prayers and well wishes.
Mom is resting, mostly comfortably. Still in ICU.
They have her blood pressure under control again.
No word yet on how long she'll have to stay in the hospital this time,
but at least things are looking brighter then they were 12 hours ago.
