Did that most of the day. Stiff west wind and I was right across the road from several houses. Good thing it's too cold for them to have their windows open or much outdoor activity going on.
 
Always shudder when I see an older spreader loaded that heavy- just too many memories of shoveling it out to fix a broken chain, I guess. I go to the top of the sides, and that's it. May take a few more loads, but its sure easier on the equipment.
 
I remember doing that growing up in the 60's in the middle of winter. Had to drive into the wind to keep it from blowing back onto the tractor and me.Darn cold.
 
Composted Alpaca manure not heavy like Cow. 465 cubic feet in my truck only weighs 6 tons. Just wanted to do a better job of handling a big load than Washington D.C. can. LOL
