Hi, Recently acquired a C Reg Case 1494 with no instruction manual and as a novice am a bit lost. The rear lift arms go up like a rocket but lower exceptionally slowly. Anyone know if its ajustable as its hell trying to fit anything on Regards JD

On the 94 series DB's the rate of drop knob was relocated up to the console at the right of the seat, In the first pic. cab version the knob is shown just below the yellow knob. on an open station tractor ton the right, the rate of drop knob is in the same realitive position, but in the pic. it is obscured by the seat backrest. Hope the pics help you adjust the rate of drop. If turning the knob does not help, drop down to the Case forum, and we will assist you in deeper isues.

Loren, my 1494, the rate of lowering knob is right where I said, behind the diff lock pedal, by your heel... actually slightly under the front edge of the console. This is on a platform tractor.

I suspect given the language used by JD, most likely he is in the UK, and has a Sekura Cab, and the flexible hose drive set up.

Thanks Loren great help. Will check out at the weekend. And yes RG am in the UK and a Case fan.
Regards JD

Rich,
That is what I disliked about the DB tractors. The were always changing things around. I was thinking that the knob was where you said, but I went to my lit and parts book and ran across these setups.
