One more day of combining, and corn will be done. Coming in around 180 bushels average and 20%. Could be worse! Price could be $3.50....

Haven't seen any even start around here yet.
Wet spring so many got a late start.

Crop is all harvested, check is in the bank...
that was always the best feeling.

We don't miss the worry over the planting, growing, harvesting season... but do kind of miss the checks though. Renting land is not as profitable as farming it usually is - but it's way more relaxing.

Tried it yesterday here in northern NY but the goblins beat me. The moisture was low enough but the ground was muddy in places. It was my first day with a new combine {new to me] and I had several things go wrong so I did the brave thing and QUIT. Will give it another go when it stops rainning. Glad you got yours done.
