Arrrrrggggggg

Just had to vent my frustrations with some people who can feel may pain.

I have an old Nuffield 460 I bought to use for some landscaping and snow clearing. Used it for 4 or 5 years regularily, and the only thing I had to do to it was replace a bearing in the fan.

That brings me to this year. I haven't really used it much the last couple of years. So I decided to sell it.

Tube was leaking through the valve. As it was a loaded tire & I didn't have time or equipment to fix it, got it repaired - they had to weld the rim as it was rotted around the valve - lots of $$$.

Had to replace the battery.

Started it - and it stalled, something it's never done before. For some reason, I had a bear of a time bleeding it. Got it started, used it for a day, put it up for sale. Went to start it the next weekend - stalled again.

As I only get a few hrs every couple weekends to work on it, took a few weekends to determine the problem was a leak at the fuel filter. Filter is no longer available, and I could find no info on a replacement. Finally found one, made a few modifications, and got it installed this weekend.

Started it to make sure there was no leaks, and figuared I would move a pile of dirt before I sold it - hydraulic line for the loader blew out.

Started in Spring. It's now end of Oct. Maybe I can put it for sale again this week. All this to sell it - arrrrgggg.

Sounds like karma is trying to keep you from getting rid of it.

I tried to sell a tractor this spring. It was PEOPLE that caused me to put that one back in the barn.

Everything goes that way, specially on a weekend, when you've been planning for it and time is short.
