I would want a front mounted pump and hydraulic bucket
One way up on the lift arms is ok with me
Only thing I can find is s number to call in Minnesota. Sunday here in the state of Arizona. Is Paulson still in business. I would use a 700 lb counter weight in the point to keep the back end on the ground and help with steering
Any current information on the cost of the loader I want to set up? SSB in new York sells one for $4000 plus $500 shipping.

You can usually find the old Dearborn loaders for around $300 or less with the front mount pump. For $ 4500 I would buy a newer tractor with power steering and a loader already on it.

Paulson is still in business- located in Rogers, MN. Just NW of Metro. I bought a frame with lift cyl on an auction for $65 some years ago, fits an 8N. Trip bucket models usually go either side of $300 around here. Full hyd with front pumps go for more.

Thank you for the information.I sure like the prices you mentioned for the used
Paulson loaders.

There are thousands around here- very popular since the 1950s, mfgrd close by, many different color dealers sold them. Trip bucket was big improvement over a fork. Many put on AC WD tractors, H&M Farmall. I have one on my reversed WD. Excellent traction.

JMS,
I am in Arizona for another week
I live in the state of Washington.Have been checking Craigslist for a Paulson loader in several areas of the state.Found one for $1500. Came off a jubilee.Front mounted pump, hydraulics to the bucket and one way hydraulics to the frame. The wagners are around but I like the design of the paulson

Had a loader on my 8N for awhile. It was REAL handy in close quarters, but not able to lift a LOT of weight. It ran on the front pump. I still used the three point. Got a bigger tractor and didn't need two loaders. Mine was a Dearborn loader - can still find them for under $200.

Dachshund,
the Wagner loaders make it hard to get on the tractor. Is the Dearborn like the Wagner?

Dachshund,
Since our last communications I located a Paulson, has front pump, hydraulic cylinders for bucket. It came off a jubilee so I bought it
