(quoted from post at 15:05:45 10/12/13) Only asking $175,000.00 Don't get hurt in the stampede to grab this one up!
Nice looking rig. No idea if that's a reasonable price or not. Nor do I care.
What I don't get is why people feel the need to rag on people for what they ask for their stuff. My experience is when someone complains about what sellers are asking for something , they can't or won't step up and pay current market price.
A couple of years ago I listed some signs for sale on this site. The self appointed price police sent me several messages telling me how out of line my prices were. The signs sold quickly at the asking prices. The buyer of one of the signs even knew that I was making nearly a thousand dollars on the sign I had just bought a few days prior.

I guess I see a difference betweem telling a guy directly that his price is out of line, and what Bruce did- just making a comment on it. And I think he's right- not likely to be a stampede, but there might be that one guy who has lots of money, and needs that tractor to "complete" his collection. I watch the classic car auctions, and there's a lot of big money spent there, for cars that aren't the "crown jewel" of the hobby like the UDLX.

watched one sell in Wakarusa,Indiana.about 8years ago it was a older restoration. it sold for 180,000.sure it would be nice to have .but for 175,000 I could buy a lot of other toys

A gentleman once told me that a fair price is when buyer and seller agree. I would not dream of telling someone that his price is out of line. If I want/need something enough I will offer what I think is fair, not bash him for being overpriced.

The one on here is the same UDLX from Watsonville,CA thats on ebay..

Two UDLX's sold a year ago in OK for $155,000 and $90,000..A rougher one sold last year in NY for $68,000
