OT how to edit a post

Switch to modern view if you need to, then log in under your user name / password, then the icon/button will show, click on that and the body of your text will come up in the field of entry, edit away, then submit.

Go to your post. If you are using "Traditional View" click on the "Modern View" (on the right side of the screen).

After the screen refreshes, click on the "Edit" button at the top right of your post. Now you can edit away.

When finished, click "submit" to upload your revised post.

When you are though with the post click preview your post at the bottom read it and then click return to form to make any changes after its all corrected then click post.

Billy,
That's a lot of tech stuff. I'm with Walt, on Classic Forum. hit preview, and then hit Return to Forum, if you don't like it, edit it and hit Priveiw, and then hit Submit if your happy. You can repeat this process, if needed, on Classic.

Darned right, its so technical, it can't be done LOL !!!! What Pete said, "after you submit or post" whereas you have to log in, find your post, there will be an icon/button that says edit, click on that, then the field of entry comes up with your original text, edit then submit. Still too technical.... LOL. I used modern view to add a URL link for the first time, had to not get confused by the bit of code that is prompted and comes up in modern view, been using classic view for so long, then there was this great new way to post photos from your C drive, and not have to use the remote hosting site like photo bucket, still too darned technical LOL !

PS, recent sunset photos were great, I was sitting in my stand, doing some archery hunting over a some nice green food plot, in a former ag field, watching about 20 deer graze in it, some young bucks clacking horns, playing, don't get any better sunset than that, the sky had the same "hue" over here, nice red/orange.
