DEWALT CORDLESS GREASE GUN

I have finally seen it, DEWALT is coming out with a cordless grease gun in DECEMBER. Thought you guys would like to know.
 
Well, yeah, except the cordless one I bought in 1968 has begun to leak a little grease around the plunger. I only give it another 40 or 50 years.
 
I agree nothing wrong with the old stuff, but theres absolutely nothing wrong with a little technology, especially when you grease 5-6 pieces of equipment daily.
 
I've never heard of any cordless battery holding up for 40 years. Just wondering how many times did he have to rebuild the battery pack.

I'm a fan of 18v dewalts. Looks like a great Christmas, even if I have to buy it.

I think that poster was pulling your leg in that the old style manual pump type grease guns are also cordless.

Personally, while I hate the long handled manual pumpers as they usually take both hands to operate them. I truly love the pistol grip manual pumpers that are easy as pie to operate with one hand leaving the other hand free to put the fitting on the zerk.
 
I think it admirable that DeWalt keeps trying to make a tool that works! LOL Maybe this will be the one!
