We have more and more Aspens (Poplars) here in New York.
In the flag picture there are lots of Aspens on that hill but they're still green.
Yours is one great picture with the Rockies so clear in the background.

Seems "upstate" is a relative term. To me, "upstate" is along the Canadian border. To people in NYC, anything north of George Washington Bridge is "upstate."
Regardless, New York State - in my opinion is one of the most beautiful of the contiguous 48 states. Why does it have to be so screwed up, politically? That's a rhetorical question, I think. Just can't figure how New York City sissys e.g. Chuck-you Shumer and Andrew Cuomo come to Albany and tell the "other" 95% of the state how to live.
