remote adapter to remote adapter

Never tried this, but I have a 1086 with the international remotes. I have a set of international to pioneer adapters. And I need to borrow a neighbors implement that uses Deere remote ends. I don't want to switch his tips. Can I plug the John deere to pioneer adapter into the international to pioneer adapter or will the world just explode.

Well yes you can BUT ever time you thru one of the adapters flow IS reduced some, depends on what kind of flow you want, never know what you will get till you try it.

Hi
You might find with all the adapters you get the hydraulic oil pretty hot due to pressure, and the fitting restrictions slowing the oil flow, depending what kind of implement your borrowing.

It could be like running a hyd motor back through spools and not a free flow return line, straight to the oil reservoir/ back end, things get rather hot!.

Why not switch the tips? How much easier could it be? And I can't imagine him having a problem with that if he's letting you use it.

When you plug your tractor into your neighbor's
implements...you're asking for all of his
trouble...Like: mismatched fluids, metallic
particles from his failing pump, or water in his oil, or dirt from his never cleaned quick
connectors. GOOD LUCK !
