Apples

Have a tree FULL of beautiful Granny Smith apples. Gave away bushels. Saved a few for myself. Made pie this morning as it is raining hard outside.

I live in 'Orchard County' County Armagh NI this little orchard was all ready to be 'pulled' 2 weeks ago when I was cutting the hedge around it. The apple breed is Ulster Bramleys, a cooking apple, great for pies. Shortly after I took this shot a group of migrant Polish workers arrived and in about 3 hours the apples were all in the bins!

We picked up a bag of HoneyCrisp apples at the grocery store last night, good apples!
