Kubota Hyds problem part 2

Well found the filter screen and pulled it out and cleaned it. Put the fluid back in and the hyds seem to work as they should at least for a while. When I parked it they did seem to have a problem but maybe due to needing fluid but since it was almost dark I just said the heck with it and parked it for the night and will check things tomorrow. Shoot may have a leak at the suction line.
On the other side now have to figure out why the 4 wheel drive does not seem to work or is it I do not know how to turn it on??
 
Should be a little lever down on the side if the transmission right below the front edge of the seat if my memory serves me right. If it is not working normal problem is the connector in the lower drive shaft at the front pinion.
 
Only lever in that area is the high/low for the transmission. There is a spot for a 2nd lever but no lever. Also below that just above the floor board is a thing you can step on but think that is to lock the 2 rear wheels
 
Let me go hunt up the book and see where to look, and you are right on the locking the def thing.
 
I do not think the locking diff. works either since I did step on it a couple times and only one rear wheel would spin and yes I made sure I was stopped before stepping on it
 
Well just looked your dif lock goes across under the tractor and pulls a rod down low and back to the rear housing, somewhere right in front and maybe above that is where the 4 wheel drive fork goes in the rear housing, now I have not found where or how the lever mounts but I am thinking right there in the area of under the right rear side of the seat. You may have linkage problems there in that area in both problems. O it is not unusual for the dif lock to be very hard to engage, like putting a square peg in a round hole, have someone turn the axel (with unit jacked up) as you apply pressure to the pedal .
