Iffn ya need a good laugh

LOL! had me in tears! My Dad had similar experience in late fifties, using dynamite to dig a cistern...all going well until he tried some black powder a neighbor had. Dad was a WWII vet, knew explosives...dynamite always blew DOWN, fragmented rock, nothing came out the top of the well/cistern. He stuffed a quart of black powder down a bore hole, used blast cap, set it off......rocks the size of buckets and our metal ladder came out of the hole and went 30 ft in the air, came down on our roof. He took the keg of granulated powder back to the neighbor. You could buy dynamite at the local hardware store in those days...the blast caps were much more dangerous than the actual dynamite.
