I took the family to the local grange fair this evening. This is my sons posing with two of the biggest pumpkins I have ever seen.

Yep, must be some of those pumpkins grown from special seed. I have seen them in nursery catalogs and they are kinda pricey, but if you want to grow a record breaker, I guess you have to invest a little more.
I'll bet your boys got a kick out of seeing a pumpkin as large as they were!

Local story here. Guy grew a 150 pound watermelon. Wanted to take it to the state fair a couple of weeks ago. Some azzhole stole it a couple of days before......

We have a local guy that does that i don'y know how many seeds are in there but i heard he gets $25 a seed.
