JD 594 Hay Rake

Any of you guys know what years Deere manufactured the 594 rake? This one has steel wheels for the large front wheels and rubber tires on the two small 9" back tires.

Of course I'll pull it with a Super M tractor.

Thanks for the help.

I think I have everything needed. Got some teeth from JD. Maybe they still carry them. Will give you a shout if I need something. Thanks

The Deere model 594 rake was manufactured from the mid 1930's to the mid 1950's.

Although there are no serial number plates you can approximate date your rake (usually within a year or two) by looking through the parts list and comparing casting codes on some of the unique parts as there were some slight changes over the course of the run. (takes some time and effort and using the process of elimination but parts list is available for viewing for free or you can buy the books on ebay etc.).

I have one 594 rake that I use that is roughly a 1937 model year and a second rake that is closer to a 1948 model year.
