Castles foe SweetFeet

Just got back from a short holiday in Wales.The first 2 shots are of Raglan Castle. First picture is of the main gate, second is my wife and dogs standing in the fireplace of the private dining room (65 feet by 30 feet, 10 foot ceiling). The main dining hall is about twice this size. Next two shots are of a castle several miles further away. Shot 1 is looking over the moat ( filled in ) through the remains of the original entrance, shot 2 is of the remains of the keep,( the main stronghold ). I know SweetFeet likes castles, these 2 need some care and attention. Phil

Just beautiful. The thickness of the walls is amazing. I can just imagine the tapestries on the walls and thick wood tables full of people eating and talking boisterously.

The footprint of entire home would fit into that dining room more than two times. My entire little "office space" at home would fit quite nicely into the fireplace. :)

Looks like you and your wife had a wonderful vacation. Again, thank you for posting.
