PROUD FATHER !!!!

Today my oldest son just completed hunter safety class. Sat there the whole weekend with him and was absolutely impressed with his attention to detail at 8 yrs old. He even had asked the Conservation Officer a couple of questions that made him take note. I was even asked to be a instructor which I'm very seriously considering figuring it's the least I can do to repay them for there efforts.

I do it for the local firearms training. Very good thing to do. Your son will remember the classes and success for his whole life. Jim

Every reason to be proud there!
My nephews and nieces stump the instructors when they go too.
Funny some of the things ex-military folks teach about firearms. LOL
If you have the time to do it, do it. You could make a HUGE
difference in some young lives. Maybe even save some.

All ready took the hand written test just need a instructor sign it and mail it. I'm also waiting for a coach class for our JOAD program in archery. There is something to be said to watch a young person struggle and offer a simple change and it turn around right in front of your face.

Before Hunter Safety, I took a gun safety class through 4-H. For some reason I didn't finish but I learned to check guns to make sure they are not loaded. That was 56 years ago and to this day it's the first thing I do when I pick up a gun, including my own. I'm appalled at the number of gun clerks that just hand a gun over the counter without checking.
