1st is it getting hot or hotter than you like? Is the gauge correct?

If the radiator indeed does need flushed the best way to do it is to take it to a shop and have professionally cleaned. There are a number of "mechanic in a bottle" flush products out there. Be prepared for it some will take sealers that have been added out. I've had good luck with JB products. Also how dirty is the outside of the radiator. My bil spent a small fortune flushing a radiator on a 1066 IH a couple of years ago when a good blow out, reverse flow of the "fins" produced clouds of dust and and cooler running temps.

Very simple. Drain the system and fill with vinegar and run it till good and warm let cool drain then rig up a hose fitting to the block drain and with the cap off back flush it for say and hour or so.

I use Rustout I get it at Walmart it does a job on rust without damaging the rest of the radiator. Put about two cups in and run it for several hours at full temp. Then flush real good.
If your tractor is a mufti fuel check to see if the preheater on the carb is not set to high. These tractors run around 180 to 200 so they can burn Kerosene. Mine runs around 200 when working hard I have the shutters make sure that they work so that you can adjust the temp.

If none of these suggestions fix the problem your radiator may needs to be rodded out by your local radiator shop. Check your water pump for worn impellers. Hal

All good suggestions below. Consider on case D and L series nonpressure systems the crud may be located at bottom of water area of sleeves , especially the rear 2. I have removed the lower connection from radiator to block, fashioned 3/8 copper wand fitted to waterhose. Snake to rear area of block. Personally I was amazed at the caked mud that came loose on one.Seems the older nonpressrue systems with large top tank opennings were more apt to get junk from 5 gallon of muddy creek water.

I highly recommend old's vinegar method. I've used it on a half a dozen pieces of equipment with excellent results.
