I own a TD-7G and son-in law owns a Komatsu D-31P. They are in similar condition except the TD needs pins and bushings. The machines aren't used much and I'm only going to keep one. Anyone have an opinion?

I would say keep the Komatsu D-31P. Have had issues dealing with Dressor on parts.

I'd say the Komatsu too but I haven't seen the machines or checked either of them out. Very hard to tell condition of a machine just looking at it. I think the Komatsu may be newer as well.

Komatsu and Dresser are one and the same company. Obtaining parts shouldn"t be a problem other than the possibility of some being obsolete. That is possible even on the Komatsu also.
