Suggestions for rubber on steel rims

Hi all, I see tractor and wagon rims from time to time with a tire tread like rubber bolted to them and I was wondering if this tread can be purchased somewhere in strips or is there something better to use. There doesn't have to be tread, flat would work too. I have an old wagon with 6 inch wide flat steel wheel that I would like to put rubber or something on them. The thought of cutting up old tires doesn't sound like much fun and I would like them to look descent. Thank you for any thoughts.

I have cut strips out of conveyor belting to put on steel wagon rims.

I also think Miller tire has rubber to bolt on steel wheels.

you can also get old big truck tires most places will give them to you, then take a sawsall and cut around the tread where it meets the sidewall and you will have a nice thick piece of rubber then bolt it thru the original holes in the wheels where the lugs went

Me too. I told them what my plans were and lucked out and got some that out of date or something they could not use for retreading anymore. Worked perfect for me.
