I have a Continental 4cyl G193 that i need to get some parts for. What has everyone found as the best place? I went to our local parts store the other day and they where like a deer in the head lights...

Have you tried looking at adds in Trade-A-Plane, an aircraft publication. Forty years ago I used to get parts very economically from Fresno Airmmotive for Continental A 65 and C85 engines. I would try google , etc.

Depending on where your at I have a complete 4 cylinder Cont. engine that when I pulled it out still ran. Not sure the size of it just know it is an old flat head

A lot of forklift dealers have access to cont parts. Most internals are the same. Just have to watch when it comes to cranks and front covers etc where hookups occur.

The main part I need is the exhaust manifold. There is a crack in it where the muffler bolts on. I may be able to get it repaired but wanted it check on a cost for a replacement. Other than that the engine runs fine. May do some new plugs and wires but that's about it.
