Nope, missed that one. And, yeah I milked a cow once or twice - got kicked a few times too.

One time at the fair, one of the kids was doing a milking demonstration, wanted me to come up and learn. Reached up and produced a continuous stream of milk, with both hands alternating two teats. Had a partial bucket in just a few minutes. Kid was amazed. Then I told him I was a long time dairyfarmer!

Last one I attended was in Hampshire, IL> about 35 mi west of me. Breakfast was $4.00 for 2 small frozen waffles and some scrambled egg mix crap with 2 slices of bacon and coffee.
Our local EAA chapters Fathers Day pancake breakfast serves 4 good fresh made3 pancakes, REAL scrambled eggs and 3 bacon strips or 3 sausage links with a breakfast roll, juice and coffee. Won't be goin to anymore "Dairy Farm Breakfast's!

Interesting article, looks like fun. I also followed the like to read about the Homeland Security snow cone machine, it almost sounds like something that The Onion would come up with.

MSU Extension BOTF is free. Just have to get a ticket (free) to eat breakfast. Helps them figure out how much food to make.
