It's been in the mid to high 90s with high humidity for about 10 days now.
A guy just seems to wilt when he has to do any hard work outside.
Big change coming tomorrow though.
Should be in the low to mid 70s for several days.
A welcome relief.

Went through that in July.Real tough to work in.Glad we put in Central air conditioning when we built the house.

It hasn't been any cooler up in Grand Forks. I'll be glad when this is done and we can be back to cooler temps. To top it off we are actually finally getting rain. Its been so dry here crops aren't doing good so this rain is a blessing.

We had humid weather all week here too! About the 80s for temps. Just muggy and humid. We're having t-stormes now. I said It before, and ill say it again, I hate summer, bring on winter! Lol.

Boomers up in Walker right now, can already feel the LACK of humidity. Looks like front will be seeing you about bedtime. Shutting off the AC here and finally opening some windows.

The heat has not been too bad this summer, but late may into early July, humid, tropical air persisted, way too much rain in June, the jet stream had a kind into it. We did get some nice relief in August, cool dry air, just this week did the humidity come back, but it appears if that front makes it down here, we will get the same weather you speak of, and I for one welcome it, but I will say this, its been nothing like it could have been with high heat and humidity like it was in the summer of 2010, which was like summer in early May that year, saw a lot of early hay being baled up.

Since mid August, I plowed, disc'd all my food plots and planted oats, Plot Spike, and No Plow, with the No Plow as an over seed onto the oats, and I just put down the last of that NP last evening, we just got a soaker, oats were all just germinating, still very humid, so this was good timing, now I just need to sneak some lime in there and fertilizer once its all up a bit, kind of backwards, but I wanted to get it growing first, given the time. I will say the humidity is an energy drain, 2 days ago, I noticed it, but with the heat being tolerable, no problem.

Ya went to that auction today and the heat index was above 100. Almost no shade to be had at the place either. It was a tad bit breezy but when the temps are in the high 90s a breeze does not help much

I need rain. Ten mile north of me crops are nice. Here field choppers are starting to run. Second rough (dry) summer in a row.

Humidity the last few days has made everything a bit tougher. Spent the afternoon cutting dead limbs out of trees in the yard and hauling brush. Didn't take long to work up a sweat!

The wifes grandparents have a couple cabins on Ten Mile lake. Like to go into Walker to the sporting goods store and the fireworks over leech lake if we are there over the 4th.

Just had the change go through.

Big blob on radar, lightening, thunder, oh my!

Rain gauge got .06 in it. Wow, that was all.

Yea we got the rain about 6 this evening. I'm showing .55". Only rained about 1/2 hour. Cooler temps will be welcome.

That sounds like our weather here in Savannah, GA from late May to mid September.

As a displaced citizen of "Gods Country" (central MN) I just wilt in the summer, become a slave to air conditioning.

When folks find I am from "up nawth" the ASSume I moved here to escape the cold....no, landed here when younger, and miss the cold, and this yankee is getting his butt back up north where it BELONGS as soon as I "retire"!
