Oh that's a can of worms... check the archives in the Ferguson and massey forums... be prepared for a looong thread if you post the question...

The spec is GL-1 oil, the quantity is 24 qts( up to the bottom bolt hole on the hydraulic compartment access cover). There ae three drains on the sumps and you should check the sump and clean it if it"s dirty. The fill is on the transmission shift cover.
