4 day trip to Illinois sunday

flying out of SeaTac, at 600am Sunday, for St Louis. Got a rental waiting, and will drive to Jacksonville Il. I wish I could say that I am going to a tractor show, but my brothers wife lost her battle with the big C. I can't change things, but can maybe help a younger sibling cope, with it. In our family, we support each other, what there is left of us. We originally came from Morgan Co. Il. Sure would like it to be tractor related! Visitation is Monday and memorial service is Tuesday. I'm going to find me a motel in J ville, and stay out of the way, and fly home Wednesday. OH we finally got some decent rain, and I was able to turn off the pasture irrigation.

Wish the Best! Would have been nice if You came a day early, & went to the MT. Pleasant Iowa "Midwest Threshers Reunion". About a 2 1/2 hour drive northwest of Jacksonville; But I know Family comes first. Lost my 34 year old sister due to alcohol dependence. Just couldn't live without that next drink!

Charlie!, I lived by Pere Marquette park in 75 thru 79, just north of Grafton. Worked as a millwright at Duncan Foundry, till I moved here to Wash. state. Where are you at in Alton area?

On the northeast side by the Foster Township line.The new 255 is 2 miles north of my house.My dad and I did snow removal and some maintenance work at Duncan in the 70's.
When you lived in Grafton did you live near Liberty Ridge?
