The third brakelight on the back of my 2002 4 door Blazer is an LED bar. Must replace the whole unit. $165.00 at the dealer, $60.00 w/lifetime warranty at O'rielly's. decisions decisions.

I don t know if I would fix it or not. As long as left & right was working .
I don t know what the law would say about it , but probably if its on the Auto it has to work .
Just another way for the Gov . to protect the Idiots.

Hey John how are you? You know we have the auto inspections at plate renewal, so I reckon I may as well replace it. Plus, would hate to get rearended and they blame it on that light not working.

Just looked at THREE Blazers, two tailgate, one hatchback. All look like the same fixture. Screw mounted from the top. Looks like two screws, and lift it up - unplug, plug, and screw it down. Have you considered a salvage yard. Probably have a box full of them.

turned out I needed to go to O'riellys for a brake switch for the duadters car. Picked up the light bar and installed it. Wouldn't have been bad except for sweat pourin outta me.
