I'm enjoying the pictures I'm seeing on various discussion boards. I've heard of it, but don't know more than that. Is it a one-of-a-kind? When, where, and who built it?

Just curious.

The Earthquake or Rite 750 tractor was built in the early 1980's by Rite Manufacturing in Great Falls,Montana....There are two more this size in Canada...One of the builders whom is now in his 90's was at the show..

Earthquake weighs in at 74,000 lbs. The tractor was used in actual farming field work this past spring near Holgate, OH. Possibly the second largest ag tractor in the world behind Big Bud.

I wasnt at Rantoul but a friend said the EarthQuake pulled the same plow Big Bud did at its apperance there. The BigBud has a V16 and I was told EarthQuake was a V-12.BigBud weighs about 95000# w/o fluid. The Heartland Museum in Clarion,Ia just built a new building that will house BigBud plus many other nice tractors.I helped some in getting it moved and between the DOT plus actual physical labor plus special equiptment I hope people enjoy it.It makes our 9530 track tractor look small.
