transmision oil filter housing and T fitting for hydraulic s

Does anyone have a transmission oil filter housing with the fitting on it for return oil from a hydraulic valve for a loader for my John Deere 3010? If so I would like to possibly purchase one. Also looking for the T fitting that would go on the supply line under the brake pedals to be able to put a hydraulic fitting on for supply to a loader valve for the same tractor. I purchased a loader, but have only one set of rear remotes and want to plumb directly into the supply and return for the hydraulics. If anyone can help even with just the part #"s it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Jim

Jim - this subject is discussed a lot on the JD forum. Here's a link to just one of the discussions. You can do a search and find all kinds of info on the subject. Good luck.

You dont need to "buy" one.Lots are made by drilling and then threading or brazeing the correct fitting to the cast cover.

If it were my tractor I attach the return hose to the rockshaft return line(2nd photo) rather than contend with hose on a ported filter cover every time I had to change hyd filter. The ported filter cover(T31170) isn't even listed in the 3010 parts catalog

Thanks alot for the info fellas! I greatly appreciate it! A local fella told me the same thing about the filter housing cover with it destroying the filters, but you guys cleared it up perfectly for me! Again I do greatly appreciate it!

What you state is true but on the factory ported filter cover the fitting for attaching hose is angled so filter doesn't take the direct return hose pressure.
