Really? I keep seeing people post, "My email is open", but I never see a tag/button that says, "email"... Sometimes see, "PM" or "Profile"... Nothing on the "Profile" page either... Where is the button? I've wanted to e-mail a couple of persons over the years, and while they said it was "open", I never could figure out exactly how to e-mail them. So, I'm asking, "How do you send someone an e-mail when they say it's Open?"

It depends on which forum one is viewing the post and which forum the thread is posted on. My email stays open on modern view but i can't determine how to keep it open on classic view.

Now I reply on classic(inserting my email addy) and I think it will show my email open on both forums(MODERN & CLASSIC)

I see 'No Email' on everyones post next to the 'reply' link, even on my own posts that I have put my Email address in. People have even emailed me from my posts, so it must work for others. I have used different computers and they all show 'No Email'. It used to work a few years ago...

Yep, got your Email, but your post along with everyone else's says 'No Email' to the right of the 'Reply'. When I switch over to modern view I don't see an Email button either. I have tried Firefox, Internet Explorer and this happens both on my home and work computers.

Rich, I'm using modern and I don't see an email button in your post. A lot of others do but yours doesn't. Is it just because I'm on modern and you're on classic? Jim

Odd unless you do not open the post from the start. To see the e-mail you have to open the psot by way of the first post then you should see the e-mail thing if you just open it from this post yes no e-mail will open

I keep my email open on modern but the only time I see my email box open on classic is when I post on classic and insert my email. BTW I stay logged in on both forums(classic & modern) unless something kicks me off.

I always open posts from the beginning so that shouldn't be the problem. I have posted a message on the Site Comments forum with a link back to this message thread. We'll see if they have any ideas.
