How many of you are going to be at the bridge crossing in Mackinaw City next week?
I have 4 loads of tractors to go so will be going all next week. The club I am in will be parking tractors after the crossing. I will be hauling with a red Pete with a stepdeck. Will have 5-6 tractors to the load. All different colors on the loads.

I'll be parking tractors too. Now I know who you are! I'll call Floyd and have him bring some safety vests out of the trailer. See you there!

Are old tractors bringing a premium up in that area?
I brought up a Case VAC-14 last fall that I'd paid $500 for. All original, ran good but not "restored." Also some oil leaks and bad tires. I sold it to a guy who says he wanted it for the Mackinac Bridge crossing and I sold it to him for $1200. Last month while I in Rogers City - I saw it parked at a U-haul dealership with a new coat of red paint and a FOR SALE sign for over $3000!

What day and what time do they cross? I have not been their to see or drive it. From what i understand they start on the north end? Is their anything speical needed to drive it? Is their a cost?

I will try to be there, weather permitting. I live only about 30 miles N of the bridge. I drove across the first year, on my D17. I head planned to drive my WC with the 262 gleaner engine this year, but I had a stroke in june so neither the tractor or me, is ready. I don't want to miss the show after the parade, its one huge event !

I'm hauling my Farmall H up on Thursday, then coming in from Cadillac with a buddy Friday for the ride. I drove my JD B in the first one years ago. I belong to the All Color club from Williamston, MI, so there'll be a bunch of us.
