Illinois bow hunt questions??

My fiancé and I are getting married 10/11/2014 the following week for our honey moon we would like to go bow hunting in Illinois.. I was wondering if any of you locals knew of any good places.. Look forward to comments..

Pike and Adams county s are two of the best places in the US to hunt White Tail, the problem is if you do not hire an Outfitter you will never find land to hunt on. (I do know a guy, send me an Email and I ll forward your # to him.)

I've seen some good bucks dragged out of the Shawnee National Forest a couple of years ago while we were hunting Kentucky. We were actually hunting just inside Kentucky and staying at a motel in Shawneetown. ...which I wouldn't suggest due to the "twilight zone" experiences we had at that place but the bucks came off public land and were in the 150" range.

Of course, setting up on public land without a few scouting trips or seasons under your belt and hoping to get onto a good buck is dang near impossible but I'd figure I'd tell you what I know.
